Broadcasting

This demo reel - most of which dates back to 2018 and 2019 - is an introduction to my work as a sports commentator. (More recent clips of my work are available on the sport-specific pages linked below.)

I started my television career with ESPN in the US, commentating on Brazilian and Mexican football (soccer) matches, but I currently live in the UK, where I cover a wide portfolio of sports as a commentator and a presenter:

• I commentated on the men's and women's ice hockey events at the 2022 Winter Olympics for Olympic Broadcasting Services (OBS) and at 2018 Winter Olympics for Eurosport, and since 2014 I have served as the main voice of the Champions Hockey League, European ice hockey's equivalent of the UEFA Champions League. (I also commentated on the para hockey tournament at the 2022 Paralympics for OBS, and as of last year I have been providing English-language commentary on the Swiss National League.)
• I also worked for OBS as the principal play-by-play commentator on baseball and softball for the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics - I have a very solid baseball background and provided world feed baseball and softball commentary for the 2018 Asian Games from Jakarta.
• I currently provide world-feed EuroLeague and EuroCup basketball commentary, and I have also covered a wide variety of FIBA-run competitions (World Cup qualifiers, Basketball Champions League, FIBA Americas League, etc.) and been invited to commentate on the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.
• I work regularly as a tennis commentator, having covered both WTA and ATP Tour matches; I have also scripted and voiced over all of the commentary for "Tennis Elbow 4", the latest edition of the popular indie tennis video game (scheduled for full release on PC in 2023 and on the PlayStation and Xbox platforms thereafter).
• I'm now SolidSport's primary English-language football (soccer) commentator, having called numerous European matches for them - including in the UEFA Champions League. I had previously covered matches in La Liga and the Copa del Rey in Spain, Serie A in Italy, Ligue 1 in France and the J-League in Japan (as well as an AFC Cup Final) for DAZN Canada.
• I've also worked for DAZN as the host/presenter of their featured "NFL Game of the Week", as well as serving as their main commentator on the KHL, the predominantly Russian ice hockey league.
• I have provided play-by-play commentary on the first three seasons of the European League of Football - i.e., American football (gridiron) - in 2021, 2022 and 2023 and have been picked to call every edition of its Championship Game to date.
